Pitching Sessions
Already common outside Japan, pitching sessions provide a meeting point for industry professionals to propose projects for possible international co-production. This will be the first initiative in Japan for documentaries.
During the sessions, TV production companies among others will propose projects to commissioning editors from major international TV stations who have the authority to green-light productions and international program distributors. Co-production possibilities will be considered following a review of the works and a Q & A session.
These sessions will be limited to non-fiction programs concerning current events, social issues, history, nature, science and travel.

Workshops
Producers and distributors who are familiar with international co-production will explain the process and answer questions about what is necessary for transnational broadcasting of Japanese programs.

The participants proposing projects in the pitching sessions will be able to have one-on-one meetings with commissioning editors and distributors.
